Reporters learned from the State Food and Drug Administration on January 26 that Novo Nordisk Megglutide Tablets have been approved by the State Food and Drug Administration (NMPA) for marketing to treat type 2 diabetes. This is the first domestically approved oral GLP-1 (glucagon like peptide-1) receptor agonist.
