According to reports, Tesla has started pushing V12 updates to its Fully Autonomous Driving (FSD) software to users, nearly two months after its first release to employees. Tesla stated that FSD Beta v12 has upgraded urban streets/driver stacks to/end-to-end/neural networks, which have undergone millions of video training and replaced over 300000 lines of C++code. In other words, after upgrading to FSD v12, artificial intelligence will replace engineer coding and oversee vehicle behavior in autonomous driving mode. A month ago, Musk revealed that due to FSD v12 being a completely new architecture, Tesla is conducting additional testing. It performs well in California, but more training is needed for areas with high rainfall.
