Apple's hybrid reality device Vision Pro, priced at $3499, is set to be released on February 2nd, and Apple has also launched a supporting app store, causing quite a stir in the technology industry.
However, the release of this product by Apple is not a good thing that everyone enjoys. Netflix, Spotify, and YouTube, a subsidiary of Google, are currently not launching new applications for Vision Pro, nor are they planning to allow applications already on the iPad to connect to Vision Pro for use.
YouTube stated in a statement on Thursday that if users want to access content on YouTube through Vision Pro, they can use Apple's Safari browser. This is consistent with the solution provided by Netflix.
Insiders revealed that Spotify has also adopted the same strategy as YouTube and Netflix, which is to neither launch new applications nor allow its existing applications on the Apple Store to use Vision Pro.

Apple's Vision Pro can currently fully utilize programs such as Apple Music and Podcasts, but the lockdown on YouTube, Spotify, and Netflix means that users will not be able to access the most popular video and audio content in the early stages. This is not good news for Apple's Vision Pro.
But there are also many streaming service providers who choose to side with Apple, including Disney, Max, and Amazon Video. Apple also announced that Vision Pro will support over one million games.
Neither YouTube nor Spotify explained why they were unwilling to list their services in Apple's Vision Pro store. Currently, it is known that YouTube has collaborated with Meta's Quest headsets, but Spotify is not currently involved in the competition in mixed reality headsets, only having some conflicts with Apple's policies in the App Store.
However, YouTube did not say it to death, stating that it does not rule out the possibility of eventually supporting Vision Pro, but there are no further plans at the moment.
In addition, according to the survey, most of Meta's applications used on iPhones and iPads, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, are currently unable to run on Vision Pro. Meta did not respond to this matter.
Apple, on the other hand, stated that the key ecological scenarios of Vision Pro will appear in healthcare, technical personnel training, and education. In addition, it is reported that Apple is still researching the enterprise application of Vision Pro.
