According to CCTV, the International Monetary Fund released a report on the economic outlook for the Asia Pacific region on October 18th local time. The report predicts that the Asia Pacific region's economy will grow by 4.6% in 2023. Compared to the expected 3% growth of the world economy this year, the Asia Pacific region remains a bright spot and is expected to contribute approximately two-thirds to world economic growth. The report predicts that China's economy will grow by 5% in 2023. In addition, the three fastest growing countries in the Asia Pacific region in 2023 are Samoa (8%), Fiji (7.5%), and India (6.3%).
