Chinese sellers with sales exceeding $10 million increased by 30%
During the summit, in an interview with the media, Dai Jianfei also revealed several key data - the number of Chinese sellers with sales exceeding $1 million in the past year has increased by over 25% year-on-year; The number of Chinese sellers with sales exceeding 10 million US dollars has increased by nearly 30% year-on-year. During this year's "Black Friday" holiday shopping event, over 20% of Chinese brand sellers saw a year-on-year increase of over 50% in product sales on mature Amazon sites compared to the same period last year in 11 days; More than 15% of Chinese brand sellers have seen a year-on-year increase of over 100% in product sales on mature Amazon sites.
"On the one hand, this indicates that Chinese sellers continue to bring products that meet the needs of global consumers. On the other hand, this number also indicates that the more new forces join the cross-border e-commerce track, the wider the track. What they bring is not only more innovative products, but also more concentrated and large-scale supply chain advantages, as well as a stronger atmosphere of innovation and growth," said Dai Jianfei.
It is reported that in the first half of this year, Chinese sellers accounted for over 80% of Amazon's total sales in the top 35 cities with the highest total sales, a year-on-year increase of over 20%. Among them, the city with the highest growth achieved nearly 60% growth.
Release 2024 business strategy priorities and launch the first innovation center
At this cross-border summit, Amazon Global Store reviewed the progress and achievements made by Chinese companies on Amazon in the past year, and emphasized the five key business strategies for 2024 in China: empowering brand building, simplifying global operations, strengthening global supply chain solutions, driving global expansion, and improving local services. Around these five strategic priorities, Amazon has launched a series of innovative product tools and seller service upgrades aimed at promoting the integrated development of "cross-border e-commerce+industrial belt" and empowering cross-border e-commerce enterprises to "go global with high quality".
At the same time, the "Amazon Global Store Asia Pacific Innovation Center" announced its establishment in Qianhai, Shenzhen - the first innovation center in Amazon's global store Asia Pacific region. Strengthen local empowerment and comprehensively upgrade China's existing service system

The aim is to promote more industrial belts to accelerate transformation through cross-border e-commerce, and help Chinese sellers leap towards the high-end of the global value chain.

Amazon announced the establishment of four regional centers in East China, South China, West China, and North China, and the addition of a new Central China regional center. Through the establishment of five regional centers, Amazon's global store opening has further enhanced its regional coverage and layout in China, enabling more efficient and targeted response to the actual needs of local sellers. At the same time, relying on the five major regional centers, we will continue to deepen various measures of the "Ten Initiatives of Amazon's Global Store Industry Belt", closely cooperate with local governments, and jointly promote the integrated development of "cross-border e-commerce+industry belt".
