During the reporting period, it achieved revenue of $567.1 million, a month on month increase of 3.6%. The company's core business segment, BIGO, achieved multiple growth in revenue, profit, and users.
Specifically, in the third quarter of this year, the core business unit of Huanju Group's BIGO revenue reached 494.1 million US dollars, a month on month increase of 4.9% and a year-on-year increase of 2.2%. It was the first time in six quarters that a single quarter revenue achieved a year-on-year positive growth; The operating profit of this sector was 81.9 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 11.7%, and the operating profit margin reached 16.6%. Under non US GAAP accounting standards, the group's net profit for the quarter was $81.2 million, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%, with a net profit margin of 14.3%; This quarter, Huanju Group continued to record positive operating cash flow of $72.9 million.
In the third quarter, Huanju Group's global social entertainment MAU (monthly activity) increased by 2.6% year-on-year, reaching 276.8 million. Among them, Bigo Live MAU achieved double-digit growth for six consecutive quarters, with a year-on-year increase of 14% to 40.3 million in this quarter. The paid users in the BIGO business sector maintained healthy growth, with a year-on-year increase of 6.6%, and ARPPU also saw a month on month increase.
