Putin approves Russian companies to acquire assets of Caterpillar and Schaeffler in Russia. On November 27th, Russian President Putin approved Russian company PSK New Solutions to acquire assets of American heavy industrial equipment manufacturing company Caterpillar in Russia, including its factory in Leningrad Oblast and Caterpillar Financial Company in Moscow. Putin also approved the acquisition of German automotive parts manufacturer Schaeffler's factory in Ulyanovsk by Russian company PromAvtoKonstal.
