According to ABC's report on the 26th, due to potential safety hazards in seat belts, Honda is recalling multiple models including the 2023-2024 Accord and HR-V, which were produced from October 4th last year to October 14th this year. Honda stated that due to assembly errors, some parts of the seat belt tensioners in these cars are missing, which may increase the risk of driver injury in the event of an accident. More than 300000 cars are expected to be recalled this time, but Honda estimates that less than 1% of them, or about 3000 cars, require replacement parts. Honda dealers have also stated that they will repair safety hazards for recalled vehicles and, if necessary, provide free replacement of new seat belt tensioners for owners. Data shows that as of November 16th, Honda has received a total of 7 warranty claim requests, but has not received any reports of injuries or fatalities related to seat belt tensioner failures.
