Starting from now on, a total of 2 imported Model X electric vehicles with production dates from July 7, 2023 to August 1, 2023 will be recalled. The vehicles within the scope of this recall have undergone steering wheel type modifications at the Tesla Service Center, but the modified new steering wheel still has airbags of the original type installed, resulting in a mismatch between the airbags and the new steering wheel. When a vehicle collides, the protective performance of the airbag may be affected, which increases the risk of driver injury in accidents and poses a safety hazard.
