On November 20th, The Information reported, citing two sources familiar with the matter, that if dismissed CEO Sam Altman returns to his position, Microsoft will consider taking a seat on the OpenAI board. According to insiders, Microsoft can hold a seat on the OpenAI board or serve as an observer on the board without voting rights.
