On October 11, the international authoritative index company MSCI (MSCI) announced the latest ESG rating results. The "Securities Daily" reporter consulted the report and learned that Xiaopeng Automobile was upgraded from AA to the world's highest rating AAA.
As the first car company in China to receive this top rating, MSCI highly recognized Xpeng Motor's outstanding performance in reducing product carbon footprint, developing clean technology, labor management and corporate governance, with relevant scores far exceeding the industry average and ESG performance far ahead.
According to the reporter, the MSCI ESG rating is mainly based on the three dimensions of environment, society and governance, and is comprehensively scored on a number of key issues such as carbon footprint, cleanable technology opportunities, product quality and safety, and labor management. As early as October 3 last year, MSCI and DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Index) updated the latest results of Xopeng Motor's ESG rating. Among them, Xpeng Automobile MSCI ESG rating is AA level, DJSI ESG score is 49 points.
