On the afternoon of December 17th, Tesla Vice President Tao Lin revealed on Weibo that the cooling water recycling rate of the Shanghai Gigafactory has reached 98%, with over 400000 tons of reclaimed water being recycled annually. The wastewater discharged after treatment does not contain any heavy metals.
