On November 25th, it was announced that The Walt Disney Company has agreed to pay $43.3 million to partially settle the allegations of unequal pay for equal work, in order to avoid a potentially costly and distracting jury trial. These allegations claim that over the past 10 years, the company has generally paid lower salaries to female middle managers than male employees in similar positions.
