On December 1st, multiple new energy vehicle brands disclosed their sales data for November, with mixed results. BYD once again exceeded 500000 units, and Zero Run Motors delivered over 40000 units for the first time. Ideal Motors' monthly delivery trend has widened, with a month on month decline of 5.25%.
Ideal Auto's month on month decline is 5.25%
In terms of new energy car companies, Ideal Auto still leads in delivery volume. Ideal Automobile delivered 48740 units in November, a year-on-year increase of 18.8%, but a month on month decline of 5.25%, marking the second consecutive month on month decline for Ideal Automobile.
As of the end of November, Ideal Auto has delivered a total of 441995 vehicles this year. If the annual sales target is achieved, 118000 vehicles need to be delivered in December. Based on the current delivery situation, Ideal Auto may struggle to achieve its annual sales target.
Zero Run Motors ranks second in delivery among new forces. In November, the monthly delivery volume of Zero Run cars exceeded 40000 units for the first time, reaching 40169 units. This year, the cumulative delivery reached 251207 units, becoming the first new energy vehicle brand to achieve its annual sales target ahead of schedule. On the same day, Zero Run Motors officially announced that it will challenge its delivery target of 500000 vehicles by 2025.
In addition, Xiaopeng Motors also achieved a new high in delivery in November, delivering 30895 vehicles that month, a year-on-year increase of 54% and a month on month increase of 29%. Among them, Xiaopeng MONA M03 has delivered over 10000 units continuously within 3 months of its launch. This year, Xiaopeng Motors has delivered a total of 153373 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 26%. Whether Xiaopeng Motors can turn its losses around and achieve profitability with the help of MONA M03 and P7+models, timely delivery ability is the key.
Jike delivered 27011 vehicles in November, a year-on-year increase of 106% and a month on month increase of 8%.
NIO, which also launched affordable brands, delivered 20575 new cars in November. From January to November, NIO delivered a total of 190832 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 34.36%.
Among them, NIO delivered 15493 new cars in November. It is worth mentioning that NIO brand delivered less than 20000 vehicles in October and November. The Ledao brand delivered 5082 new cars in November, with a cumulative delivery of over 10000 vehicles in just over two months. The first car of the Ledao brand, the Ledao L60, was delivered on September 28th. 832 units were delivered in September, 4319 units in October, and 5082 units in November. Compared to the Xiaopeng MONA M03, the delivery pace of the Ledao L60 is slightly slower.
Xiaomi Auto delivered over 20000 vehicles in November, surpassing 20000 vehicles for two consecutive months. Xiaomi Auto has already achieved its annual delivery target of 100000 vehicles ahead of schedule and will challenge its annual target of 130000 vehicles.
BYD's monthly sales exceed 500000 vehicles again
In November, BYD sold 506800 vehicles, with monthly sales exceeding 500000 vehicles, a month on month increase of 0.8%; This year's cumulative sales volume is 3.7573 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 40.02%. BYD is close to achieving its annual sales target. Market analysts believe that BYD's sales continue to rise and are expected to exceed 4 million vehicles in 2024.
In addition, BYD's high-end brand DENZA recently announced its entry into the Thai market. BYD stated that Thailand has become the fourth market for the Tengshi brand in the Asia Pacific region, following Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Singapore, marking an important step in the brand's strategic layout in the largest automotive market in Southeast Asia.
Sales of new energy vehicles by Sailis reached 36842 units in November, a year-on-year increase of 54.58%; From January to November this year, the cumulative sales of Sailis new energy vehicles reached 389566 units, a year-on-year increase of 255.26%.
It is worth mentioning that on November 29th, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. released the regular adjustment results of the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 and other index samples, and Serys was included in the four major indexes of Shanghai and Shenzhen 300, Shanghai 50, Shanghai 180, and China A500. Entering December, various new energy vehicle brands have entered the year-end sales sprint stage, launching promotional activities one after another.
Among them, Jike announced that the limited time rights for the entire series will be extended in December, with a maximum discount of 110000 yuan. Ideal Automobile announced a 3-year, zero interest plan for the entire series on November 29th.
Chen Shihua, deputy secretary-general of the China Automobile Association, said that since the third quarter, with the increase of subsidies for car scrapping and renewal, overlapping car companies have launched new products, the passenger car market has gradually recovered, and the terminal retail market has continued to strengthen.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) stated that the car market in November continued its high momentum since October, and the effects of scrapping and replacement policies continued to be released, stabilizing the high-speed car market. It is expected that the total retail market size of passenger cars in November will be about 2.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 15.4% and a month on month increase of 6.1%; The retail sales of new energy are expected to reach 1.28 million vehicles, with a penetration rate of approximately 53.3%.
