The net loss attributable to the parent company improved from RMB 51 million in the same period last year to RMB 30 million, a significant decrease of 41.9% year-on-year; The gross profit margin and adjusted gross profit margin reached 32.7% and 35.6%, respectively.
From the cumulative situation of the first three quarters, the net profit attributable to the parent company for the continued and terminated operations of Financial One Account was 110 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 138.9%, with a net profit margin attributable to the parent company of 6%, a year-on-year increase of 16.7 percentage points. In addition, third-party overseas customer revenue achieved a year-on-year growth of 23.4% in the first three quarters of this year.
In the first three quarters of 2024, the overseas third-party customer revenue of Financial OneConnect increased by 23.4% year-on-year, and its proportion in third-party revenue increased to 22.8% (excluding data from the virtual banking business sector), an increase of 7 percentage points year-on-year.
In the third quarter, Financial One Account successfully launched the SLP (Intelligent Loan Platform) product upgrade project, which gave overseas customers stronger business expansion capabilities and improved their operational efficiency. As of the end of the third quarter, OneConnect's financial services have covered more than 20 countries and regions including South Africa, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, and Vietnam, serving a total of 192 overseas financial institutions.
