Recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated on social media that Optimus has been carrying out some tasks in the factory and its capabilities are rapidly expanding. The most difficult part at present is how to improve the design of Optimus to make it easy to manufacture and match complex supply chains, thereby achieving mass production.
A research report previously published by CITIC Securities stated that Tesla has released the latest progress video of Optimus on its official X platform account. In the video, the humanoid robot can visually autonomously avoid obstacles, create maps, transport parts, interact with humans autonomously, and deliver items according to human needs. Compared to its performance in the "We, Robot" event, the content in this video is a better demonstration of Optimus' current autonomous capabilities, and the robot has preliminary applicability in factories. The agency believes that next year will be the year of mass production for humanoid robots, and Optimus robots will gradually be deployed in factories.
