According to the latest report from research firm Counterpoint Research, the global smartphone market revenue in the third quarter was flat compared to the same period last year, but increased by 15% compared to the previous quarter, slightly above $100 billion. Apple's smartphone market share reached 43%, leading other smartphone manufacturers and reaching a new high in the third quarter. Compared to the previous generation models launched in the same period last year, Apple's latest iPhone 15 series had one week less sales time in the third quarter of 2023, indicating that Apple's global smartphone market share in revenue terms reached a historic high in the quarter ending in September.
