According to a reporter from Securities Daily, the Yunnan Coffee Farmers' "Wulin Conference" was born in 2015 and is the only award ceremony organized by the coffee industry for Yunnan coffee farmers. It aims to express Starbucks' respect and gratitude for the hard work of coffee farmers during the transition of the old and new coffee seasons in Yunnan. At the same time, by setting an example of high-quality coffee, it encourages more coffee farmers to work together with Starbucks and make Yunnan coffee better and better.
In addition to increasing the income of coffee farmers and helping upgrade the coffee industry in Yunnan, Starbucks' deep cultivation in Yunnan has also extended to launching five consecutive innovative public welfare projects to benefit the local community. Since 2018, Starbucks has committed to investing nearly 45 million yuan, covering more than 30 coffee growing villages in Yunnan Province and directly benefiting over 10000 coffee farmers.
