On Thursday Eastern Time, the three major US stock indexes closed with mixed gains and losses, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average continuing to hit a historic high and the S&P 500 index reaching a new intraday high. As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.37%, the Nasdaq rose 0.04%, and the S&P 500 index fell 0.02%. Most popular Chinese concept stocks fell on Thursday. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed down 3.61%. NIO fell over 6%, Xiaopeng Motors fell over 7%, and Ideal Motors fell over 5%.
