On October 8th, sources familiar with the matter said that Pfizer CEO Abel plans to meet with key executives of radical investor Starboard Value next week.
Previously, it was reported that Starboard Value has acquired approximately $1 billion worth of shares in Pfizer and hopes that the US pharmaceutical giant will make changes to reverse its performance. (Reuters)
