On October 5th, NIO announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CYVN to establish a technology research and development center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In addition, NIO and CYVN will jointly develop a new car model for the local market.
Meanwhile, NIO also announced that it will officially launch business in the Middle East and North Africa region. The business operation work will be carried out through the joint venture between NIO and CYVN - NIO Northeast Africa Company, and the United Arab Emirates will become the first market for NIO Northeast Africa Company.
