According to CNBC website, on the 3rd local time, Tesla announced that due to delayed rearview camera images, it may affect the driver's field of view and increase the risk of collision. The company will recall over 27000 electric pickup trucks nationwide.
The report states that this is the company's largest recall of electric pickup trucks. Tesla discovered this issue in early September, and the affected vehicles' systems may not display images within 2 seconds of reversing. Within 6 to 8 seconds of reversing, the rearview camera may display a blank image. After the recall, the company will conduct a system update on the relevant vehicles to address this issue.
