Due to the impact of Hurricane Helena, several airlines in the United States have cancelled or postponed thousands of flights scheduled for September 26th local time. According to the flight tracking website FlightAware, as of 5:59 pm Eastern Time on the 26th, a total of 1218 flights have been cancelled and 4146 flights have been delayed. Southwest Airlines cancelled 201 flights, making it the airline with the most cancellations, followed closely by American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
