On September 26th, Intel officially released the Intel Xeon 6 performance core processor, providing technical support for computationally intensive business areas such as AI, data analysis, and scientific computing. This time, Intel and its ecosystem partners shared their application practices in various fields such as cloud computing, data center architecture innovation, green and sustainable development based on the new Intel Xeon 6 performance core processor, and jointly released new products with multiple industry partners.
Chen Baoli, Vice President and General Manager of Intel Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Group in China, stated that in response to the demand for higher quality and more diversified computing power in the AI era, Intel has launched a new Xeon 6 performance core processor. With powerful computing density, leading single core performance, higher memory bandwidth, and energy efficiency, this processor can meet the diverse workload challenges of data centers. While promoting infrastructure innovation, Intel also continues to support the development of energy-efficient data centers from multiple dimensions, such as creating solutions to building industry standards.
It is understood that the Intel Xeon 6 performance core processor is designed specifically for computationally intensive workloads. Compared to the previous generation of processors, its performance has doubled, and with more cores and double memory bandwidth, it meets various demanding AI challenges from the edge to data centers and cloud environments.
Liang Yali, Vice President of Intel Marketing Group and General Manager of Cloud and Industry Solutions and Data Center Sales Department in China, stated that in the current era of increasingly diversified and massive computing power demand, Intel has explored the upgrade of data center system architecture with its ecosystem partners through the release of the Xeon 6 performance core processor, further unleashing the value of computing power.
This time, Inspur Information, Super Fusion, New H3C, ZTE, and Lenovo also showcased new products based on Intel Xeon 6 performance core processors, which are driving the upgrade of computing power in data centers.
