On September 26th, sources familiar with the matter revealed that chip design giant Arm had had contact with Intel regarding the acquisition of its product division, but was informed that the business was not for sale. It is reported that during high-level inquiries, Arm did not express interest in Intel's manufacturing business. (Bloomberg)
