TechInsights: Half of iPhone 16 5G Millimeter Wave Radio Quantity: TechInsights' latest disassembly analysis of iPhone 16 shows that the millimeter wave AiP previously emitted from the side has been relocated to a new position near the camera component on the rear glass panel. In addition, disassembly revealed that Apple no longer includes the second millimeter wave RF front-end module and phased array antenna previously designed to be located on the main logic board.
