At the new product launch event held in the early morning of September 10th Beijing time, Apple released new smartwatches, AirPods, and iPhone 16 series.
Apple Watch screen area increases by 30%
The biggest upgrade to Apple's new smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 10, is the larger dial size. Compared to previous generations, the S10 has a 30% increase in screen area and a 10% thinner thickness, making it currently Apple's thinnest watch. The titanium version is made of grade 5 titanium material, which is 20% lighter than the previous stainless steel material.
The Apple Watch Series 10 is equipped with Apple's new S10 chip and features a quad core neural network unit. This smartwatch has been optimized through AI, such as more accurate fall alarm function through machine learning, and can evaluate photos in the album to select the best performing ones. In terms of health functions, it can remind users to take medication regularly and provide alerts when signs of atrial fibrillation are detected.
The Apple Watch Series 10 starts at $399 and will be available on September 20th.
Apple stated that the Apple Watch 10 has a faster charging speed, with 80% charging in 30 minutes, allowing for longer usage time after a short charge.
Apple also released the Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatch with a starting price of $799. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is an extremely powerful sports watch that provides support for training and performance for athletes of all levels, "said Jeff Williams, Apple's Chief Operating Officer.
AirPods 4 adds active noise cancelling version
Apple has launched AirPods 4, which it calls the "most comfortable AirPods," offering personalized spatial audio, call environment noise reduction, and the smallest and most portable charging case with a maximum battery life of 30 hours. In terms of price, the regular version is priced at $129, while the active noise cancelling version is priced at $179.
The Apple AirPods Max headset has released a new version, including midnight, blue, purple, orange, and starlight colors, and has added a USB-C port. The price remains at $549. Additionally, Apple has announced the addition of hearing protection features to the AirPods Pro 2.
IPhone 16 series starts at 5999 yuan
Apple releases iPhone 16 iPhone 16 Plus、iPhone 16 Pro、 And the iPhone 16 Max. The first two models are equipped with the brand new A18 chip, while the latter two are equipped with the more powerful A18 Pro chip.
The starting prices for iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are $799 (5999 RMB) and $899 (6999 RMB).

Chinese AI will be launched next year
Apple Intelligence will be tested in American English and a localized English version will be released later this year. Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish versions will be released next year.
