US authorities end preliminary assessment of Tesla vehicle front suspension failure

On August 14th local time, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that it has concluded its preliminary assessment of front suspension failures in 74918 Tesla vehicles. The agency launched an investigation into complaints of front suspension link suspension failures in 2015-2017 Tesla Model S and 2016-2017 Model X vehicles in 2020.
