At the AI intelligent driving technology conference, Xiaopeng Motors released the AI Dimensity XOS 5.2.0 system, which added 72 new functions and optimized 412 functions. It was officially launched in China on July 30th and began to be launched in 10 countries including Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France on August 15th.
Xiaopeng Motors stated that thanks to the application of end-to-end large models, its intelligent driving system can achieve version iteration every 2 days, experience upgrade every 2 weeks, and push 5 full updates within 70 days.
After Tesla first launched the V12 version FSD system using an end-to-end large model, domestic car companies, autonomous driving companies, and others quickly followed suit. As of now, Xiaopeng Motors has started pushing the XNGP driving assistance system using an end-to-end large model to users; NIO, Ideal and other car companies have recently announced their end-to-end technology layouts and adjusted the organizational structure of their intelligent driving departments based on the needs of large models and artificial intelligence.
The "End to End Autonomous Driving Industry Research Report" jointly released by Chentao Capital and three parties shows that among the more than 30 frontline experts in the autonomous driving industry interviewed, 90% of them stated that their companies have invested in developing end-to-end technology, and most technology companies believe that they cannot afford to miss the consequences of this technological revolution.
