On July 30th, Southern Finance and Economics reported that NVIDIA has once again increased its focus on humanoid robots. Today, NVIDIA announced that it will provide a set of services, models, and computing platforms for robot manufacturers, AI model developers, and software manufacturers to develop, train, and build the next generation of humanoid robots.
The entire product package includes a new NVIDIA NIM microservice and framework for robot simulation and learning, NVIDIA OSMO orchestration service for running multi-stage robot workloads, and remote operation workflows that support AI and simulation, allowing developers to train robots using a small amount of human demonstration data.
NVIDIA founder and CEO Renxun Huang said, "The next wave of AI is robotics, and one of the most exciting developments is humanoid robots. We are advancing the development of the entire NVIDIA robotics stack and opening up access to humanoid robot developers and companies worldwide
