McDonald's Japan announced on July 23 that almost all of its stores that were forced to suspend operations due to payment system issues have now resumed operations. As of 12:00 noon on the 23rd, a small number of stores are still closed, but they will reopen once they are ready. This issue is not related to the global IT failure caused by software updates from cybersecurity company CrowdStrike.
