US streaming giant Netflix announced its latest financial report after hours on Thursday. In its second fiscal quarter, it achieved revenue of $9.56 billion and earnings per share of $4.88, both better than expected. The net increase in paying users for the quarter was 8.05 million, far exceeding analysts' expectations of 4.87 million. But Netflix expects third quarter revenue of $9.73 billion, lower than analysts' expectations of $9.83 billion.
