On November 1st, multiple new energy vehicle companies announced the delivery of new cars for October 2023. From the data, many car companies have shown a year-on-year growth trend in delivery volume.

In terms of new car manufacturing forces, Ideal Automobile still maintains a strong momentum, with its first monthly delivery volume exceeding 40000 units, still ranking first on the new car delivery list of that month's new car manufacturing forces. In October, Ideal Automobile delivered over 40400 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 302.1%. As of October 31 of this year, Ideal Automobile has delivered a total of 284600 vehicles throughout the year.

Ranked second is Xiaopeng Automobile, which continues its strong performance from last month, with monthly deliveries exceeding 20000 units, an increase of 31% month on month and 292% year on year, setting a new record for single month deliveries. Among them, the Xiaopeng G6 delivered 8741 vehicles, ranking first in the monthly sales of pure electric SUVs between 200000 and 250000 yuan.
Following closely behind is the Zero Run car. On November 1st, Zero Run announced its delivery volume for October, with 18200 units delivered that month, a year-on-year increase of 159% and a record high. It is reported that Zero Run Automobile is accelerating the introduction of new products, and its first global model C10 will be unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show this month.
NIO ranked fourth on the new car delivery list for the month with a record of approximately 16100 vehicles. Its delivery volume in October increased by 59.8% year-on-year and 2.8% month on month. From January to October this year, NIO delivered a total of 126000 new cars.
The fifth ranked car is still Nezha Automobile. Nezha Motors delivered approximately 12100 new cars in October, a year-on-year decrease of 32.9% and a month on month decrease of 8.5%. It is the only company among the aforementioned car companies with a year-on-year and month on month decline in sales.
In terms of other new brands, the AITO Wenjie series, which had previously performed poorly, rebounded strongly. In October, the AITO Wenjie series delivered 12700 new cars, of which the Wenjie New M7 delivered 10500 new cars, and the monthly delivery of single car models exceeded 10000, setting a new historical high. It is reported that the total number of vehicles in the Wenjie series reached 57800 in October.

According to data released by Jikron, in October, it delivered a total of 13000 new cars, achieving a consecutive 9-month year-on-year growth. In October, brand delivery and mass entrepreneurship reached a new historical high, "said Jikron.
In October, Lantu Automobile delivered 6067 new cars, an increase of 138% year-on-year and 21% month on month; From January to October this year, the delivery volume of Lantu cars reached 33500 units, a year-on-year increase of 107%.
In response to the sales target for 2023, CEO Lu Fang of Lando Motors clearly stated during this year's Shanghai Auto Show that he hopes that this year's sales can double from last year's sales. Based on calculations, the sales target for Lando Motors in 2023 is 40000 to 60000 vehicles. At present, from January to October this year, Lantu Automobile has achieved over 80% of its minimum annual sales target.
In addition, Avita 11 delivered 3888 vehicles in October, an increase of 26.11% month on month, setting a new historical high. The brand's second model, the Avita 12, was mass-produced on October 11th and will be launched on November 10th to seek sales growth.
It is not difficult to find from the data released by the aforementioned enterprises that many brands achieved year-on-year sales growth in October. According to the China Passenger Car Association, it is preliminarily estimated that the retail market for narrow passenger cars in October was about 2.02 million units, an increase of 0.1% month on month and 9.5% year-on-year. Among them, the retail sales of new energy vehicles were around 750000, a month on month increase of 0.9%, a year-on-year increase of 34.6%, and a penetration rate of about 37.1%.
During the '11th' holiday, many local governments chose to issue government consumption vouchers at local auto shows, further amplifying the effect of the Golden Week auto show. After the end of the '11th' holiday, new consumption promotion policies are still being issued in various regions, and local subsidy distribution is gradually becoming normalized, working together with enterprise promotions to provide stable support for the car market at the end of the year.
Dongguan Securities recently stated in its research report that the national and local policies supporting the expansion of new energy vehicle consumption continue to exert efforts, coupled with the concentrated listing of new products by car companies and a significant improvement in cost-effectiveness, stimulating further demand release. It is expected that the sales of new energy vehicles in the fourth quarter of the year will continue to rise. The current valuation of the sector is at the bottom of history, and the allocation value of top quality enterprises with global competitiveness is gradually emerging.
