Zhu Zheng, senior vice president and chief development officer of Pinduoduo, said recently at the 2024 China Internet Conference that Pinduoduo launched the cross-border e-commerce platform TEMU in September 2022, hoping to enable overseas business with a new model and new business format, promote China's high-quality goods to the global market, and further promote the upgrading of local manufacturing industry belts.
Through TEMU, we provide one-stop services for manufacturing businesses, including website traffic, international logistics, legal, and intellectual property, effectively eliminating barriers between trade and logistics, upgrading from brand OEM to brand going global, accelerating digital transformation, and injecting new impetus into the sustainable development of the domestic economy.
He said that currently, TEMU has penetrated into more than 100 manufacturing industry belts in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong, Anhui and other places, promoting high-quality manufacturing products to enter dozens of countries and regions in North America, Australia, Europe, Asia and other regions.
