On Tuesday Eastern Time, the three major US stock indexes closed with mixed gains and losses. As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.31%, the Nasdaq rose 0.88%, and the S&P 500 index rose 0.27%. Among them, the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 index both hit historic closing highs. Most of the popular Chinese concept stocks fell on Tuesday, with the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index (HXC) closing down 1.59%. NIO and Xiaopeng Motors fell more than 5%, while Ideal Motors fell nearly 2%.
