On June 2nd, Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily reported that in a few days, the 2024 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Technology, Products and Achievements Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo") will open at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As one of the main exhibitors of this conference, Lingang Group will set up 9 themed exhibition areas around the main center of "low-carbon Lingang, green future", with "park greening and industry greening" as the two main themes.
The reporter from the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily learned from Lingang Group that Lingang Group is one of the largest exhibitors, with the most cases and the most diverse exhibition methods at the Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo. At that time, it will bring 27 key parks and 4 service platforms under its umbrella, collaborate with more than 100 well-known enterprises in the home area and more than 50 ecological partners to participate in the exhibition. It is expected to showcase more than 100 green characteristic exhibits and more than 150 green scene cases. The Lingang Group exhibition area is located at booths E4D01 and E4D02 in Hall E4 (practical exploration section), with an exhibition area of 1500 square meters.
In the exhibition area, Lingang Group will showcase the latest achievements in green park construction, green industry chain construction, urban renewal and renovation, green scene application, green technology promotion, green finance practice, ESG concept practice, and green lifestyle guidance.
It is worth mentioning that a Tesla themed exhibition area will also be set up in the Lingang Group exhibition area, where Tesla will showcase its three electric systems, Megapack energy storage scenarios, and multiple products.
Recently, Tesla's Shanghai Energy Storage Super Factory located in Lingang has officially started construction. According to Meng Xiangsheng, Director of Green Development and Standard Innovation Department of Lingang Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Institute of Quality Science and Management, in addition to Tesla's energy storage scene Megapack, Tesla's three electric technology, optical storage and charging exhibits, Cybertruck, Cyberquad children's car, Model 3 and Model Y and other star exhibition vehicles will also be exhibited, with the entire exhibition area covering more than 200 square meters.
Another leading enterprise, Cummins, will also set up a dedicated booth in the Lingang Group exhibition area. At that time, Cummins' zero carbon power chain, hydrogen energy industry chain panoramic sand table, HD150 hydrogen fuel cell, heavyweight hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck, zero carbon power core components, etc. will all be unveiled.
Meng Xiangsheng stated that in addition to exhibiting in the exhibition area, Lingang Group will also hold corresponding themed activities during the Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo. At that time, there will be a series of innovative releases, cooperation agreements, and certification awards. In addition, there will be a considerable number of heavyweight collaborations achieved in the activities.
The 2024 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Technology, Products and Achievements Expo aims to showcase the latest progress and future exploration directions in the low-carbon field, actively promote green and low-carbon trade docking and industry university research cooperation, and jointly promote the exchange and sharing of experience and practice among all sectors of society.
In Meng Xiangsheng's view, the Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo is more like a complete ecosystem, covering both industrial ecology and green living. Lingang Group's goal is to turn the exhibition booth into a platform for ecological linkage.
Taking the Power Source Exhibition Area of Lingang Group as an example, it will showcase the fruitful achievements in the current Lingang energy field and provide opportunities for industry exchanges and cooperation.
Meng Xiangsheng introduced that the exhibition area is based on the characteristic park in Lingang, with a total planned area of 7.6 square kilometers, involving more than 80 enterprises. Currently, it has gradually formed an industrial cluster that integrates the five major power fields of "aerospace, land, and sea energy". It gathers many leading enterprises in the power industry, such as CATL, Shanghai Electric, CSIC Mitsui, CSIC Wartsila, Waigaoqiao Marine Engineering, United Heavy Combustion, Chinese Academy of Sciences high-efficiency low-carbon gas turbines, Cummins, Meijin, Xinao, SAIC Aircraft Equipment, Volvo Wanda, Cargotec, Renz Transmission, Mannon Elevator, Parma Machine Tool, Caterpillar, Mercedes Benz Remanufacturing, etc. At the same time, major innovation platforms such as China Shipbuilding Power Research Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Aeroengine Research Institute, and Chinese Academy of Sciences high-efficiency low-carbon gas turbine test equipment are gathered.
Through these efforts, "serving and promoting the high-quality development of the entire Lingang and even Shanghai, and creating new productive forces," Meng Xiangsheng said.
The 2024 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Technology, Products and Achievements Expo will be held from June 5th to 8th at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The exhibition consists of three major sections: themed exhibitions, series forums, and trade docking, with a total scale of over 100000 square meters. More than 600 domestic and foreign enterprises from 14 countries and regions made a concentrated appearance.
