On May 30th, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Ford Motor Company will recall a total of 109283 Lincoln Aviator cars from 2020 to 2024. The reason for the recall is that the Attachment Protocol Image Module (APIM) may be affected by electromagnetic interference from the in car mobile phone, resulting in flickering or distortion of the rear view camera images. The dealer will install shielding for free on the attached protocol image module.
