Recently, some media reported that a Tesla sedan caught fire at a supercharging station in Changzhou, Jiangsu, without causing any casualties. On May 24th, Tesla's official customer service responded to the China Securities Journal Taurus reporter, saying, "I am not very clear about the fire incident and have not received any inquiries from car owners regarding this issue. If the police intervene, there will definitely be an official channel to inform everyone and we can wait for the results of the investigation."
In addition, the customer service representative reminded: "Due to the hot summer weather, if the vehicle is parked outdoors, it is recommended that the owner do not place flammable and explosive items such as power banks and lighters in the car, including reflective items such as sunglasses, which may pose safety hazards."
