Starting from November 9th, direct flights between China and the United States are expected to increase to 70 weekly fares or further decrease. On October 27th, local time, the US Department of Transportation issued a new notice stating that starting from November 9th, Chinese airlines are allowed to operate a total of 35 regular direct passenger flights between China and the United States per week. Among them, the Chinese airlines involved include Air China, Capital Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, and Xiamen Airlines. If the US airlines increase their flights equally, the number of flights between China and the United States is expected to increase to 70 per week.
