On Friday local time, Nvidia's market value ($3.53 trillion) briefly surpassed Apple's ($3.52 trillion) to become the world's most valuable company, reflecting strong demand for Nvidia's professional artificial intelligence (AI) chips and driving up the stock price to a new record high.
In June of this year, Nvidia also rose to become the world's most valuable enterprise, but was soon surpassed by Microsoft and Apple.
