On the evening of December 24th, the official website of the National Press and Publication Administration announced the list of domestic and imported online game licenses for December.
In the list released this time, a total of 135 games have been approved, including 122 domestic games and 13 imported games. Among the 122 domestic games, single platform games include 76 mobile games, 33 mobile casual puzzle games, 1 client game, and 1 VR game. In cross platform games, there are 8 mobile and client dual end games, 1 mobile and web dual end game, 1 mobile, client, and Switch triple end game, and 1 mobile, client, and PS5 triple end game. Among the 13 imported games, there are 9 mobile games, 2 client games, and 2 mobile client dual end games.
Among the games that have obtained the license in this batch, NetEase's "Infinite" and Tencent's "Monster Hunter: Traveler" are the two products with high attention. "Infinity" is a anime urban open world RPG game developed by Naked Rain, a studio of NetEase Thunder. It is also a game that NetEase has focused on investing in recent years. Hu Zhipeng, head of NetEase Thunder's business group, publicly said at the financial report meeting that NetEase has very high expectations for "Infinity" and has also invested huge R&D resources. In terms of imported games, it is a gathering of IP masterpieces. In addition to the aforementioned "Monster Hunter: Traveler", there are also Lingxi Interactive Entertainment's "Age of Discovery: Legend", Wansheng and Tai's "Wild Racing 8: Extreme Cloud Soaring", Shanghai Tower Game Network's "Miracle World: Origin", Heartbeat Company's "Legend of Wonderland: Rebirth", and Dreamland's "Eternal Reincarnation".

In addition, today the National Press and Publication Administration updated the 2024 game approval change information. Among them, NetEase's mobile game "Rural Land Dispute" has been renamed as "Legion War", and the publishing unit has been changed to Zhejiang Publishing Group Digital Media Co., Ltd. Kaiying Network's mobile game "Huan Dong San Guo Zhan Ji Game Software Apple Version V1.0" has been renamed as "San Guo Zhan Ji: Storm Rises Again", and the operating unit has been changed to Shanghai Magic Information Technology Co., Ltd.
So far, a total of 1417 version numbers have been issued throughout 2024, including 1306 domestic version numbers and 111 imported version numbers.
