Kyle Vogt, CEO of Cruise, a self driving company under General Motors, confirmed to employees at a meeting on Monday that the company will need to lay off employees. He promised to provide more details within the next three weeks. Cruise also stated on Wednesday that due to a pedestrian collision in San Francisco last month, the company is recalling 950 autonomous vehicles across the United States. Previously, Cruise lost its license to operate autonomous vehicles in California.
