On September 4th, Uber Japan announced the launch of a ride hailing service using shared cars in Tokyo, in collaboration with Park24 and Royal Limousine. By the end of November, for trial operation, we will explore expanding to other implementation areas of the "Japanese version of ride hailing" according to demand. Shared cars allow people without private cars to ride on ride hailing platforms, intentionally increasing the number of drivers. The driver will sign an employment contract with the taxi company Royal Limousine.
