Israel Airlines stated in a document that it has signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 20 Boeing 737 Max jet aircraft and has the option to purchase an additional 11 aircraft. These 20 aircraft will be delivered between 2028-2031; The optional aircraft will be delivered between 2030-2032. The value of this transaction ranges from 1.5 billion to 2.5 billion US dollars, depending on the number of optional aircraft purchases and other factors.
