Data shows that currently, Tesla can shut down an electric drive system globally every five seconds. Tesla has redefined the electric drive system, with each electric drive system integrating three main parts: the motor, gearbox, and motor controller. It is efficient and cost-effective, and is the powerful heart of Tesla electric vehicles. It is a key component that brings the iconic "Tesla Power" to every car. The offline production of 10 million electric drive systems not only marks Tesla's benchmark position in three electric technology and continuously improving manufacturing efficiency, but also represents its globally recognized hardcore product strength among consumers.
Tesla engineers introduced that the team insists on comparing with physical limits. The new generation high-performance electric drive system equipped on Tesla's all-new Model 3 high-performance version has increased power by more than 20% compared to the previous generation electric drive system. At speeds of 80-100 kilometers per hour, its electric drive efficiency can reach a maximum of over 97%. In terms of performance, the all-new Model 3 high-performance version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and travel nearly 8 kilometers per kilowatt hour, providing a high-performance travel experience. At the same time, Tesla's electric drive system production line is becoming increasingly efficient and economical. Compared to the first generation Model S, the cost of the electric drive system has now been reduced by half.
