As 2023 draws to a close, the home furnishing industry, after experiencing two peak seasons of new product launches in March and September, has also seen a small amount of new product launches at the end of the year.
3D cloud design software enterprise Qunhe Technology (company full name "Hangzhou Qunhe Information Technology Co., Ltd.") has launched new products in the doors, windows, and intelligent lighting sectors based on the overall upgrade of its core product, Kujiale. This enterprise from Hangzhou has chosen to be located in Guangzhou, which has a denser home furnishing industry chain.
Chen Hang, CEO of Qunke Technology, introduced the upgrades of Kujiale in four major directions: design rendering, integration with production, AIGC (Generative Artificial Intelligence), and PaaS (Platform as a Service) ecosystem.
Among them, the upgraded design rendering of Kujiale can achieve real-time rendering. "Rendering" can be simply understood as the implementation of 3D drawings into specific scenes, and the rendered scene images can give people a more intuitive experience, reflecting the designer's ability level in the early stage. Fast and intuitive rendering can improve the speed of store customer acquisition. At present, the product promotional images of most enterprises are rendered.
Apart from real-time rendering capabilities, AI mapping may become a future trend in the industry. After upgrading through AIGC (Generative Artificial Intelligence), Kujiale is now able to generate a spatial plan map directly from a home space beauty map from Xiaohongshu after selecting the layout. This operation can be completed in the relevant mini program.
A person engaged in indoor and outdoor design for kindergartens told Interface News that both parties have intentions to cooperate with Kujiale and are still in the stage of discussion. However, the person also mentioned that the outdoor space construction of Kujiale is relatively weak and there is considerable room for improvement.
In addition, the doors and windows business unit of Kujiale, which was only established in July last year, has also launched new products this year. Xu Mingjie, General Manager of Kujiale Doors and Windows Business Unit, stated that the door and window tool products launched in 2019 require a lot of modeling. In 2020, an initial version of "Free Drawing Windows" was released, but it can only cover 85% of the door and window structure.
The features of this new product, Kujiale claims to have covered 100% of the door and window structures, achieving true free drawing. In the new feature, it also includes rendering effects of different glass to reflect lighting and shadow effects, and so on.
Previously, Interface News reported that Qunhe Technology went public on the US stock market in 2021, but there has been no news so far. In the first quarter of 2019, 2020, and 2021, the company achieved revenue of $39.7017 million, $49.7044 million, and $14.1889 million, but remained in a loss making state. In 2020, Quanhe Technology's valuation was as high as $2 billion.
When it comes to future listing plans, Qunhe Technology has not disclosed any further progress.
Ouruibo (company full name "Shenzhen Ouruibo Technology Co., Ltd."), which is rushing to go public with the concept of smart home, recently announced its entry into the air conditioning field and launched a complete set of central air conditioning systems priced at 60000 yuan. This is Ouruibo's rare public appearance since entering the IPO coaching period.
Previously, several industry insiders told Interface News that they were cautious about the listing path of Euronext. The person in charge of OREB did not respond to the progress of the listing this time.
The new product launched by Eurobo this time also involves cross-border operations. This energy storage hot water central air conditioner, named MixStation, is priced at 59999 yuan for a complete set and has achieved mass production.
Ouruibo claims that the product can achieve the integration of central air conditioning, water heater, and heating, while meeting the needs of users for refrigeration, heating, and domestic hot water.
Due to the lack of an external water tank in MixStation, in terms of scenario applications, Ouruibo stated that a unit size of 89 square meters or more would be more cost-effective, and it would also be suitable for ordinary three bedroom, two bedroom flat houses.
The person in charge of Ouruibo introduced that the full set of products priced at 59999 yuan includes 1 MixStation all-in-one machine (including an extended range box), 1 Airpod intelligent indoor unit (fan disk), 5 MixPad central control screens, and some installation accessories.
According to the online inquiry from Interface News, the standard package does not include the cost of expanding the water heater, water tank, and underfloor heating installation.
The 5 central control screens included in the standard package are the highlight of this new product. It can achieve touch screen, voice, and app interaction, while also serving as a gateway for the entire house's central control screen.
Looking back at the past product history of Ouruibo, in 2018, Ouruibo released an intelligent central control screen, promoting the emergence of more intelligent panels; In 2022, Ouruibo entered the field of intelligent lighting and launched a mainless light. This time, we have crossed the field of household appliances and launched air conditioning products.
