On February 14th, Ford announced a partnership with CATL to invest $3.5 billion in building a power battery factory in the United States. Ningde Times also stated that it has accepted an invitation from Ford to cooperate and will provide construction and operation services for its battery factory in Michigan, as well as license battery patented technology. In July this year, Ningde Times responded that cooperation is continuously advancing.
