Recently, at the 2023 Intel New Product Launch and AI Technology Innovation Party, with the theme of "AI is ubiquitous and chips are everywhere", Intel officially launched the fifth generation Intel Xeon scalable processor.

Meanwhile, based on Intel Advanced Matrix Extension, a built-in accelerator, the fifth generation Xeon can further improve deep learning training and inference performance. It can achieve performance similar to using an independent accelerator without increasing hardware and system complexity, allowing for tasks such as tuning deep learning models or training small models to be completed in just a few minutes. In addition, based on trusted execution environments, the fifth generation Xeon can not only help protect data and artificial intelligence models, but also support users to make diverse choices from widely deployed data center confidential computing solutions in the current market (including application or virtual machine level isolation), making it more convenient to find solutions that are suitable for their specific business and regulatory needs. Meanwhile, through the confidential computing ecosystem, even sensitive or regulated data can be utilized across local, edge, and cloud servers, helping users achieve compliant business operations and better achieve business model innovation and data sharing.
