On the morning of the 13th, Chu Yinping, a food safety auditor with more than 12 years of experience, explained the factory inspection and audit standards of Wal Mart for prefabricated dishes in Wal Mart's store on Jiaoda Road, Jinniu District, Chengdu. For example, the product was required to be frozen to below -18 degrees within 100 seconds, which is more strict than the national standard of 30 minutes to below -5 degrees.
Zhu Xiaojing, president and CEO of Wal Mart China, said that for customers and members, food safety is always the first, which has become the most important focus of Wal Mart.
During the Food Safety Week, Wal Mart will promote customers and members' understanding of food safety knowledge through "Food Safety Expert Talk", popular science animated videos, customer communication signs, consumer afternoon tea and other activities. At the same time, through training and knowledge contests, Wal Mart will continue to strengthen employees' food safety awareness and implement food safety actions into daily work.
Wal Mart will carry out "Food Safety Expert Talk" science popularization activities in stores in Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Guangzhou, Kunming, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Experts and scholars from universities and third-party professional institutions in food safety popularized food safety and nutrition knowledge on site, shared innovative technologies that promote the development of food safety, and answered questions and clarified misconceptions about food safety, helping consumers improve their scientific understanding of food safety.
