On the evening of December 10th, Ideal Automobile officially released OTA 5.0 version and plans to launch full user push on December 19th. Through the three major software upgrades of intelligent driving (AD Max 3.0), intelligent space (SS 3.0), and intelligent range extender (REV 3.0), OTA 5.0 brings a comprehensive evolution of product strength to the Ideal L series models. In terms of intelligent driving, a valet parking function has been added.
The intelligent driving platform has upgraded the Max model of the Ideal L series to AD Max 3.0, with comprehensive upgrades in all scenario intelligent driving (NOA), all scenario assisted driving (LCC), intelligent parking, and active safety capabilities. The intelligent space platform and Mind GPT large model have started internal testing in SS 3.0. At the same time, the perception and control algorithms of the intelligent extended range platform are undergoing key optimizations, with REV 3.0 helping to increase the pure electric range of the Ideal L series by 15% -20% in winter.
Ideal Automobile stated that after upgrading to OTA 5.0, its full scenario intelligent driving function will cover all highways and urban loops in the country, as well as urban roads in 110 cities. At the same time, the safety of full scene intelligent driving in high-speed scenes has also been upgraded. In the face of dangerous construction scenes or extreme congestion, it can timely detour or avoid, ensuring driving safety.
In addition, the full scene assisted driving function of AD Max 3.0 has the ability to cope with various complex traffic conditions on a global scale. Even on roads with fuzzy or even no lane lines, stable virtual lane lines can still be formed based on the road edges and the trajectory of the preceding vehicle, and traffic can be smoothly completed.
AD Max 3.0 also brings a comprehensive upgrade to intelligent parking. By introducing the BEV large model and Occupancy occupancy network algorithm into the panoramic fisheye camera, the surrounding environment of the vehicle is accurately recognized, achieving no blind spots for the entire vehicle when driving at low speeds. With the newly added parking function, users can park their vehicles on their own through their mobile phones after getting off the car. The more powerful valet parking function can help users memorize designated parking spaces in multi-level underground parking lots and automatically park in.
In the newly upgraded SS 3.0, the multimodal cognitive model Mind GPT has started internal testing, truly tailored to car scenarios and connected in real-time, giving ideal classmates more new roles such as driving assistant, travel assistant, entertainment assistant, and encyclopedia teacher.
Ideal Automobile has built the original base model of Mind GPT from 0 to 1, which adopts a self-developed neural network architecture, allowing Mind GPT to have three major abilities: understanding, generation, knowledge memory, and reasoning. Ideal Automobile has also customized over 1000 exclusive capabilities for Mind GPT, covering 111 fields.
